The anti-HST campaign is already a success. The government never would have lowered the rate and increased the subsidies to cover more people without the campaign.
The B.C. Liberals also increased the business tax rate to make up the difference.
The public must remember a vote against the HST does not eliminate a tax — the old GST-PST would return and at a now higher rate.
Even if you personally do not get a refund cheque in the mail, someone you know or maybe love will lose theirs with a “yes” vote.
Vote “no” to replacing the HST with the old GST-PST tax.
