Larry Selzler

In Loving Memory ~

Larry Selzler was born in the Royal Jubilee Hospital on January 6, 1948. He spent his youth riding his bike around Royal Oak and Interurban and playing Little League baseball at Layritz. As he grew older, he made his way to the Westshore, spending many years in Metchosin.

Larry could be found on a tractor or chatting with almost everyone he passed. Larry loved his work as a heavy machine operator, in the forest at logging camps or construction sites around the Island.

Larry passed away on May 22, 2025. He is survived by his children Erica, Tara, Craig and Mark. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 5th, 2025, at the MCA House in Metchosin, located at 4430 Happy Valley Rd, from 1 pm to 4 pm. Please join his family and share your memories of Larry.
