Francis Charles Hansen, 76 passed away suddenly on April 21st, 2021. He was known as Charlie, François, Frankie, F.H., Dad, Grandpa and even Bionic by some! But most knew him as Frank.
He graduated from Esquimalt High School, then followed a career as a truck driver. He had a love of fishing and most things outdoors. He would always greet you with a smile, and when he wasn't sitting in the backyard enjoying the shade, he would often be found helping a friend, or family member in need. He was known as 'One of the good ones'.
Frank was a member of the Metis Nation of BC, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 91.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elaine; his 2 children, Chris (Linda) and Lisa (David); and 3 granddaughters, Emma, Rebecca, and Anna; brother, Harry (Shirley); and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters Margaret (Fred), Ketty (Raymond), Mary (Jarvis / Herbert).
He will be greatly missed by all.
Due to the current restrictions there will be a limited ceremony, and when possible a celebration of life will be held.
