Born in England, served in World War 2 with the 8th Army in North Africa. Eric was married in 1948 to the love of his life Jean. In 1954 they immigrated to Canada.
He is survived by sons Julian (Brenda), Ian (Denise), daughter Melanie (Neil), grandsons Jason and Nathan, granddaughters Jessica (Ryan) and Kara, great granddaughter Isabelle.
Eric loved his family, Scotch, and Studebakers.
Private family function will be held in the future.
