The family of Edward (Ted) Taylor of City of Langford is saddened to announce his sudden passing on 20th July 2021 at the age of 78 years at his home.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 26 years, Linda; children: Tammy (Bob) Holland, Devon (Joanna) Perry, Nathan (Cynthia), and Ryan (Yoshie) Johnston; grandchildren: Brock (Megan), Brandon (Katie), Ronin, Leon, Brendan, Joseph, and the twins River and Rain; Sister, Sheena (Groff) Braithwaite; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Ted was born the great-grandson of Paris Singer, of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. He grew up in Switzerland & London. He joined the Royal Air Force in England and had a love of planes until he passed away.
Ted came to Canada in 1970 and was joined by his mother three years later along with her children. His youngest sisters were all born in Canada. Ted last job was at Crofton Pulp Mill until he retired eight years ago.
He was predeceased by his daughter Laura Jeanine in 1995, and his mother, Susan Graham Singer - Taylor, father, William Edward Cowell Taylor, sisters, Natasha, Lorna, and brother Billy. He also had a brother Michael.
A small service was held for him on Wednesday, July 28th just for his immediate family, there will be a memorial gathering for his extended family and friends to celebrate Ted's Life later. In lieu of flowers please donate to the ALS Society.
