West Shore RCMP looking for information about suspicious man

Police are hoping the public can provide some information about an older man who approached a 15 year-old girl this morning in Colwood.

West Shore RCMP are looking to speak to a man who approached a teenage girl this morning in Colwood.

Police were contacted shortly after 9:00 a.m. this morning after a 15 year old girl was approached by a man in a vehicle while walking on the sidewalk in the 600 block of Brookside Road in Colwood.

The man, unknown to the teenager, asked her if she wanted a ride but left the area after she ignored him.

The man is described as a Caucasian male between 60 and 70 years old with rotten teeth. He was wearing a navy blue zip-up jacket and a blue baseball cap.

    The suspect vehicle is described as and older model, dark blue car with rust near the tires.

      At this point it is unknown what the man’s intentions were. Police would like to speak with anyone who may have information on this man and/or vehicle.
