A water main break Monday morning slowed traffic along Sooke Road for several hours while repairs were underway.
Matthew McCrank, senior manager of infrastructure operations for the Capital Regional District, said it was a routine break near Veterans Memorial Parkway that was repaired by a contractor and a CRD crew within a couple of hours. Traffic controllers maintained single lane alternating traffic while the work was completed.
The break affected about a dozen homes and there were no complaints, McCrank added.
