Watch: Kids enjoy a snow day in Oak Bay’s Carnarvon Park

Up to 25 cm of snow is expected overnight

With schools closed across Greater Victoria kids – and some of their caretakers – were treated to a long weekend.

Lenny Woo was thankful that she was already off work today. She got to get out with her two kids and their friends to do some snow sculpting in Oak Bay’s Carnarvon Park. Woo is off work tomorrow as well, so she might find herself playing outside again after another big overnight snowfall.

BUNDLE UP: Up to 25 centimetres of snow expected to fall on Greater Victoria overnight

Even without further school cancellations, it stands to be an exciting week for local students. Friday is professional development day, a day off for students, leading into the B.C. family day holiday Monday on Feb. 18.
