Council voted unanimously to approve an amendment to the Capital Regional District’s Regional Growth Strategy that would be necessary to facilitate the proposed municipal boundary change between Metchosin and Langford.
The amendment is needed to extend the regional urban containment and servicing policy area by 154 hectares and would allow for the provision of water and sewer services.
