Police are seeking information about four suspects who reportedly shot two women with a pellet gun in separate early Sunday-morning incidents in Victoria.

A woman told police she was in the 1700-block of Douglas Street just after 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 19 when a man in a vehicle shot her with a pellet gun. Just after that incident, another woman, who was at the corner of Douglas Street and Pandora Avenue at the time, said she was also shot with a pellet gun by a man in a vehicle.

The vehicle stopped beside the victims before the pellet gun was fired from an open window on both occasions, VicPD said in a release.

Both women suffered non-life-threatening injuries with one needing to attend the hospital for medical treatment.

The occupants of the vehicle, which was last seen travelling west on Pandora Avenue, are described as four Caucasian men. The vehicle is described as an older model grey or light-coloured, four-door sedan.

Police are seeking witnesses and information relating to the incident.

Anyone with information can contact VicPD at 250-995-7654, ext. 1, or report anonymously to Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
