VicPD seeks help identifying armed robbery suspect

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery investigation.

The Victoria Police Department’s major crime unit is investigating after a convenience store in the 900-block of Craigflower Road was robbed shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. In a news release, police said a woman pointed a handgun at staff and stole money, before fleeing on foot.

Multiple officers attended the scene and an Integrated Canine Service team was deployed to try and track the suspect but was unable to locate her.

The suspect is described by police as a 20 to 30-year-old Caucasian woman around 5’8”, with a medium build. She has blue eyes, “distinctive eyelashes” and wore a medical mask on her face. The woman carried a gold purse and wore a distinct red and black jacket with the hood up.
