Victoria police say Kayla Holmes

An at-risk teenager missing after leaving her James Bay home Thursday night was found safe and sound Saturday, according to Victoria police.

Kayla Holmes, 17, had not attended classes at Victoria High on Friday (March 30), and police issued a statement the same day requesting the public’s assistance in finding the teen.

The girl’s parents had voiced concern for her well-being through police.

No details were given about how and where the teenager was found.
