UPDATED: Two vehicle collision at Sooke and Kelly Road

Two people sent to hospital for non life-threatening injuries

A blue Subaru making a left turn while headed east on Kelly Road was T-boned by a white minivan headed southbound on Sooke Road.

An ambulance left the scene and two people were sent to the hospital, West Shore RCMP Corp. Baden Jones said. RCMP, two Colwood fire trucks and a tow truck were also on the scene.

The incident is still under investigation and the cause of the crash is undetermined. Neither impairment or inattention have been ruled out.

There were no life threatening injuries, Jones said.

The call came in at 3:10 p.m. to Colwood Fire Rescue.

A pedestrian was struck in the intersection Saturday night.
