Transit tweaks bus schedules with students on winter break

Routes running to UVic and Camosun downsized starting Monday, Dec. 3

Victoria Regional Transit services get a tweak for December to match the ridership levels as post-secondary students are off for winter break.

As of Monday, Dec. 3, routes serving universities and colleges will see reduced service as those institutions take their breaks. Affected routes run to and from UVic from Victoria, Tillicum, Interurban, Oak Bay, Ten Mile Point and Esquimalt.

Routes include:

4 UVic/Downtown

· 7 UVic/Downtown

· 8 Interurban/Tillicum Mall/Oak Bay

· 11 Tillicum Mall/UVic

· 12 UVic/ Univ Heights

· 13 Ten Mile Point/UVic

· 14 Vic General/UVic

· 15 Esquimalt/UVic

· 16 Uptown/UVic

· 21 Downtown/Interurban

· 26 UVic/Dockyard

Regular service will resume on Jan. 2, 2019.
