Brody Scheer is believed to be safe, say police

Saanich police have called off the search for Brody Scheer, a 24-year-old last seen by his family on Christmas Day.

On New Year’s Eve, police noted that Scheer was believed to be safe and that a search was no longer required.

A tweet about Scheer being missing had been shared on the Saanich Police Twitter account on Dec. 29 and the public’s help was requested in an effort to locate the young man. The search was called off two days later and police thanked the public for spreading the word.
