Millstream Road reopened shortly before 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 after being closed for several hours as crews repaired power lines damaged by a morning crash.

West Shore RCMP officers closed Millstream Road from Treanor Avenue to Bear Mountain Parkway and almost 1,100 BC Hydro customers in the area were without power starting around 7 a.m. The outage was caused by a vehicle crash, according to the power provider.

By 6 p.m. BC Hydro was reporting power restored to all residents of the area.
