Roads cleared after Langford crash backs up traffic

Crash at Stradlund and Peatt impacts afternoon traffic

Emergency services responded to a two vehicle crash on the intersection of Strandlund Avenue and Peatt Road this afternoon.

One person was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening conditions after a blue hatchback collided with a powder blue pickup truck.

The call of a two vehicle incident came at 2:45 pm. Police said they were still investigating the crash and the cause was unknown.

A constable at the scene said one of the vehicles was turning left when the crash occurred.

Three tow trucks, one firetruck and three police vehicles were on scene.
