A house cleaner from Sooke has been arrested on fraud charges related to stealing goods from customers’ homes.
Saanich police financial crimes unit arrested a 53-year-old woman on Friday. Police haven’t specified what was stolen, although the charges allude to identity documents and credit cards.
Pauline Marjorie Francis is charged with uttering a forged document and fraud.
Saanich police say the accused offered her cleaning business across Greater Victoria. Anyone who is a victim of theft in a similar manner is asked to contact Saanich police financial crimes section, 250-475-4321.
