Victoria police are warning women to beware of Roger Dale Badour

Victoria police are warning females about the release of a high-risk offender now living in the Greater Victoria area.

Roger Dale Badour, 62, poses a “significant risk” to adult females, police say, and has a long criminal history, including convictions on sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and uttering death threats.

Badour was recently released on parole in the Victoria area and is being monitored by the Victoria police high risk offender officer. He was serving seven years for sexual assault.

Police say Badour has a history of targeting adult females who are alone and befriending females he believed were socially vulnerable.

As part of his release conditions, Badour cannot consume alcohol or other intoxicants, must report all relationships with females immediately to his parole officer and must live in the location required by the Victoria parole office.
