Construction crews working in the 700-block of Hockley Avenue struck a gas line while digging around noon today (July 16). Road closures and evacuations are underway for the surrounding area.
Police and Langford Fire Rescue are on scene.
UPDATE: The gas has been shut off and crews have cleared. Fortis B.C. is on scene making repairs to the line.
