From April 9 to 12, 1917, Canadian Corps led the attack on German forces at Vimy Ridge in the opening of the Battle of Arras on the Western front of the First World War.
On April 9, 2015, veterans, serving military, cadets and first responders paraded from the Langford Legion to Veteran's Memorial Park in remembrance of those we lost in that battle.
