Ira Dwayne Parmenter is back in Western Communities Courthouse on Thursday, March 21 to fix a date for a sentencing hearing.

In December Parmenter, a former youth pastor at the Colwood Pentecostal Church, pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual exploitation. According to RCMP, the charge stems from a sexual relationship Parmenter had with a 16-year-old girl between July 2007 and November 2008.

Parmenter, 33, was arrested in Newfoundland in May 2012.
