Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling Foremost brand milk products from the marketplace due to the possible presence of sharp metal objects. (Submitted)

Loblaw Companies is asking people to return the Foremost brand milk they bought at the Duncan and Langford Real Canadian Superstores due to concerns of possible sharp metal objects inside the jugs.

“There have been three reports of sharp metal objects found in the products,” Loblaws said in a statement.

The four-litre containers of 2% M.F. partly skimmed milk and 3.25% M.F. Homogenized milk are the subject of the recall.

Customers should either throw the milk out or they can receive a full refund, with or without a receipt, if they purchased the milk from either of the two Superstores.

“There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of these products,” said an advisory from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. It was noted on the agency’s website that the recall was triggered by the company.

The CFIA is ensuring the products have been pulled from store shelves.

For more information on the product safety notice, email customerservice@superstore.ca or call 1-866-999-9890 or visit the CFIA’s website at http://healthycanadians.gc.ca and look for the recalls and alerts button.
