Langford Fire Rescue and other emergency crews assisted a male off a trail on Bear Mountain Parkway in Langford.
Langford Fire Chief Chris Aubrey said they were notified there was a sick person on the trail in the new area of Bear Mountain Parkway that is not open to the public yet.
Aubrey said the individual was able to walk out of the trail area on Mount Finlayson with no visible injuries and is being assessed by B.C. Ambulance.
