Drug trafficking investigation leads to arrest in Langford

Langford man faces drug-related charges after police find cocaine in vehicle

A 34-year-old Langford man was arrested last week in connection to a drug trafficking investigation being conducted by the West Shore RCMP crime reduction unit.

The suspect’s vehicle was also seized and searched after officers received a warrant to do so. Inside police found several baggies containing what is believed to be cocaine.

The suspect was released from custody on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 12, 2017.
