UPDATE: Crash on Sooke Road at Happy Valley snarls traffic

Expect some lingering delays

Emergency crews responded to a head-on collision on Sooke Road at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday that blocked part of the Happy Valley Road intersection.

Crews closed a section of the roadway for roughly half an hour while traffic was diverted around the intersection.

Crews had the crash cleared and the roadway reopened at around 5 p.m. But linger delays were expected.
