Fresh, local, quality groceries delivered to your door.

The delicious possibilities are virtually endless thanks to Doorway Drop, a company truly born out of the pandemic.

“We really wanted to give people the option to do their grocery shopping remotely, while supporting separate local businesses, all through one platform,” explains Brenden Fatt, Founder of Doorway Drop.

When the pandemic began in spring, Brenden found himself doing the grocery shopping for his fiance, a registered nurse, so she could safely stay out of public places while working at the hospital. It wasn’t long before he found himself doing the same for friends and family who were trying to stay safe at home during this time.

From there, the bubble grew to include locals and Doorway Drop was created! While its roots were planted in Victoria, they now reach to Nanaimo, Sooke and Metchosin.

Since then, they have been overwhelmed with love and support – and it’s easy to see why!

“I pride myself on using local suppliers and quality products,” Fatt explains.

What do they offer?

Doorway Drop is a delivery service that offers pre-made boxes of groceries, or customized boxes allowing you to pick and pair your groceries for the coming week.

Offerings include fruits, veggies, meats, plant-based products, spices, cheeses and dressings, and with both pre-made and custom options, they cater to everyone!

Better yet, if you’re located from Langford to Sidney and you place your order by 10 a.m., you can expect it at your front door that day. Their services are available seven days a week and watch for updated inventory and pricing every Friday evening for the coming week.

Born and raised in Victoria, Fatt has years of experience in the produce industry, bringing some of the Island’s best to your kitchen. Local producers include Michell’s Farm, Galey Farm, The Very Good Butcher, Portofino Bakery, and Courtenay’s Natural Pastures Cheese Company to name a few.
