A driver who has been unlicensed since August 2023 was arrested in Metchosin on Monday (March 11).
West Shore RCMP caught and issued the driver an indefinite prohibition due to a poor driving record.
The driver was flagged using automated licence plate readers, which notified the officer a disqualified driver was nearby, according to a tweet from the RCMP.
The driver was charged with prohibited driving and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
