Six Mile Road traffic congestion would increase under new View Royal proposal

I would like to know what the town of View Royal plans to do with the extra traffic on Six Mile Road if they add 240 condos and 46 townhomes on the Thetis Lake Campground and Trailer Park site. The traffic already backs up to the highway off-ramp during the morning commute, blocking both Atkins and Chilco roads.

By adding that many units, I would conservatively estimate an extra 400 cars every morning trying to get down that road. Traffic is unacceptable now and Limona’s original plan of 45 single-family homes would have been bad enough, but View Royal’s plan is completely ludicrous and will cause gridlock.
