Paper Street Theatre Company thrills sellout crowds at Craigdarroch

The improv theatre production of Murders on Paper Street winds its way through the castle

Craigdarroch Castle is doubling as a creative space this week, as The Paper Street Theatre Company presents Murders on Paper Street.

A murder mystery inspired by the works of iconic novelist Agatha Christie, this improvised production is leaving audience members on the edge of their seats until the final reveal, in true whodunit style.

The Paper Street Theatre Company provides plenty of mystery at Craigdarroch Castle this week.

John Hughes, executive director of Craigdarroch Castle, says Paper Street adds another unique element of entertainment for patrons of this historical museum. “Our theatre productions are perennial favourites and we anticipated sellouts for this distinctive murder mystery.”

Paper Street Theatre’s reputation for providing innovatively spontaneous and often hilarious theatre is well known in Victoria and elsewhere. The award-winning troupe has performed at festivals around the world, including Vancouver, London, Romania, Amsterdam. Directed by master improviser and storyteller Dave Morris, The Paper Street Theatre co. creates improvisation that feels like scripted theatre.
