Fernwood artists open their studios to share, show and sell their original works of art this weekend.

“A group of artists all around Fernwood and a little bit out of Fernwood are opening our studios for two days,” said artist Shylene Schlackl, one of the promoters of the walk.

The fifth annual tour coincides with Fern Fest and offers free insight into local artist workshops, from mixed media installations to painting.

“The people in the heart of Fernwood get hundreds of people a day,” she said.

Fernwood Art Stroll is June 23 and 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
