Witty’s stroll for early solstice marking in Metchosin

CRD event set to go Dec. 12 through Witty's Lagoon

The Capital Regional District is inviting anyone over the age of 18 to join regional parks guest naturalist, Joe Percival, for a Dec. 12 solstice stroll through Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park in Metchosin.

Come discover the plants and animals that call the lagoon area home as the longest night of the year approaches.

The walk goes from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Meet at the nature centre off Metchosin Road. For more information, call 250-478-3344.
