WIN celebrates silver anniversary with art show

Women in Need has retail locations in Langford and Victoria

The Victoria Women in Need Community Co-operative (WIN) is celebrating 25 years and in honour of that big anniversary, they’re inviting the community to celebrate with them at Art with Heart.

The evening includes food, music, a silent auction featuring the work of local artists and the event will celebrate the night’s theme of resilience, healing and community. All funds raised will go towards WIN’s programs, which support women on their journey from crisis to financial self-sufficiency and wellness.

Art with Heart takes place Dec. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Martin Bachelor Gallery, 712 Cormorant St. The event is free, but organizers ask that interested persons RSVP at win-artwithheart.eventbrite.ca.
