West Shore readers asked to unlock a photographic mystery

What have you found around the West Shore that seems unusual or out of place? Take a photo and have a chance to win a gift card.

This key found sitting on the side of the E&N Rail Trail in View Royal is one of many interesting mysteries around the West Shore. If you've come across something that looks out of place or unusual

Our photographer recently discovered a miscellaneous key on a concrete stanchion on the edge of the E&N Rail Trail in View Royal.

That got us to thinking, what have you, our readers, found around the West Shore that seems to be out of place or unusual? For the month of February, the Goldstream News Gazette invites you to send in photos of your rare finds.

All entries give the photographer a chance to win a $25 gift card. Email your .jpeg photos to us at editor@goldstreamgazette.com. Be sure to include your name, municipality of residence and some details about the shot.

Entry deadline is Saturday, Feb. 28. The winner and runners-up will be published in the March 6 edition.
