Langford recreation area to host walkathon Thursday and Friuday

Want to take the baton for the Relay for Life?

The 12-hour, non-competitive overnight fundraiser sees teams raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society in support of research and those facing the life-threatening disease.

Teams take to City Centre Park, walking laps through the night from 7 p.m. June 12 to 7 a.m. June 13. For more information on fielding or joining a team, call Jan Buehler at 250-592-2244.
