The dismantling of council chambers at View Royal’s town hall began moments after council wound up their meeting Dec. 13.
It’s all part of work being done this month to refurbish the hall on View Royal Avenue. Fresh paint and new carpets are among the improvements to the site. The work is being done to improve employee safety and enhance customer service.
The hall will be open to the public until 2 p.m. on Friday Dec. 23, when it will close for the annual winter office shutdown. It will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 8:30 a.m.
