View Royal gardeners celebrate Heatlhy by Nature

A professor and senior scholar from the University of Vi will present on Healthy By Nature at Jan. 23 meeting

The View Royal Garden Club will hold its general meeting on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Shoreline Community School, 2750 Shoreline Drive.  Dr. Trevor Hancock , a professor and senior scholar from the School of Public Health and Social Policy at the University of Victoria will present on “Healthy By Nature” a concept linking personal health with time spent in our gardens and the environment.

As well a judged mini show will feature exhibits from members’ gardens and there will be a sales table with plants and garden items.  Visitors and new members are welcome.  For further information please call 250-220-5212.
