Stop by Sunday for Witty’s beach seine

CRD Parks hosting family event near Witty's Lagoon Park

The Capital Regional District is inviting the public to join them on a beach seine. Naturalists will show off some of the creatures living in the under water forest at Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park in Metchosin.

This guided walk is for those aged five and up and is free of charge. Participants are asked to bring sandals or beach shoes and to be prepared to get their feet wet. This walk goes from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday (April 24) and participants are asked to meet on the main beach.
