Langford elementary school donates hair

Students and staff at Ruth King Elementary School in Langford shed a lot of hair Wednesday.

While the Tour de Rock riders couldn’t stop at the school, that didn’t deter them from raising awareness for childhood cancer.

Led by principal Mark Kaercher, who had the hair on his legs removed, several staff members and students had their locks chopped off by a team of stylists from Kharma Design Studio.
