Royal Roads University and TEDx Victoria team up to offer a free day of programming June 12

Royal Roads University and TEDx Victoria team up to offer a free day of programming, June 12, via live-streaming direct from the TED annual conference in Edinburgh. TEDxVictoriaLive will feature close to 30 inspiring speakers expanding on the theme Think Again.

“The TEDx philosophy of ‘ideas worth spreading’ echoes the interdisciplinary and innovative approach to learning at Royal Roads,” said Paul Corns, associate vice-president of community relations and advancement at RRU. “Education creates community. Both organizations attract leaders committed to creating positive change in our world.”

TEDxVictoria will be live-streaming an exclusive feed of the conference’s second day of programming, featuring: Money Talks; Listening to Nature; World on its Head; and Regeneration.

 

The  free simulcast is Wednesday, June 12 from 8:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Quarter Deck (second floor of the Grant Building) at RRU.
