The Westshore Rebels will be out in full force Saturday (Jan. 3) at the Belmont secondary bus loop, collecting bottles and cans in their first fundraiser of 2015.
The B.C. Football Conference junior team relies heavily on fundraising and sponsors to help fund its football program each season.
Not only is the team accepting can and bottle donations behind the school, players will come and pick up empties for those people unable to make it down to the dropoff site. Simply email media@westshorerebels.ca to arrange a pickup.
The drive runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3067 Jacklin Rd.
