The Town of View Royal reminds residents of recent changes to its lawn and garden waste curbside collection program.
This year the Town’s contractor, Waste Management, will only collect lawn and garden waste during the month of November.
In the meantime, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the Canteen Composting Yard and Garden Waste Drop-off facility, 605 Canteen Rd., which is available free at the gate anytime during the year. Hours of operation are Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., excluding statutory holidays.
