Two motorcyclists travelling the same direction were involved in a collision in the 1200-block of Goldstream Ave. on Sunday around 2 p.m.

The riders were heading east along the roadway. The first rider slowed to take care passing a car that had pulled over to the side of the road to locate an address, according to a West Shore RCMP report. The second did not slow down and ploughed into the other bike.

Emergency responders were on the scene quickly and tended to the two riders, whose motorcycles were in the middle of the road. The crash caused the road to be closed briefly until the debris was removed.

RCMP investigators believe speed was not a factor.
