Bryan Post and Jason Partington of Kal-Tire on Millstream Road collect tires to be recycled and used for community projects. Donations go to Tire Stewardship B.C. to be recycled to crumb rubber, used for playground surfacing, athletic tracks, flooring and landscaping mulch. Langford received grants from the stewardship for crumb rubber used at Westhills Parklands park, Centennial Park and Langford Lake Beach Park.
