Capital Regional District parks is hosting a New Year, New Beginnings hike around Matheson Lake Park in Metchosin this Saturday (Jan. 7). Running from noon to 2 p.m., the free hike is intended for those 18 and over and will see hikers accompanied by a CRD Regional Parks naturalist, who will speak on the cultural and natural history of the park.
