Mason Elvedahl, a recent Belmont graduate, spent the last year gathering bottles to save for a volunteer trip to Ghana, West Africa. He heads off in January for a five-month trip to teach English and other subjects in a small village. The community came through, helping him raise $2,000 to cover the cost of flight and medical insurance.
