Greater Victoria enjoys sunny first day of spring

Summer-like temperatures of 21 degrees hit Wednesday for first day of spring

Spring has officially sprung in Greater Victoria but the balmy temperatures, sunshine and blue sky are reminiscent of summer time – and locals have not been shy to show their springtime joy.

Temperatures hit a high of 21 degrees Wednesday and 15 degrees are expected on Thursday.

The warm weather will take a break over the weekend – with highs of 12 degrees and a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday, before the sun is expected to return Sunday.
