Free coffee for seniors at Skookum café

Colwood bistro offers food services training, employment skills for youth

Seniors are welcome to drop in to Skookum Food and Coffee Bistro Café for free coffee or tea and snacks on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.

The bistro, staffed partly by students enrolled in the Pacific Centre Family Services Association’s Skookum Skills program, recently expanded to be open three days a week.

It is located in the lobby of the Children’s Health Centre at 345 Wale Rd. For more information, call 778-677-3540.
