Book worms are in luck as there are plenty of good reads to scoop up at two book sales this weekend.

Friends of the Greater Victoria Public Library are hosting its second annual book sale on April 14 and 15 at the Kinsmen Fieldhouse at West Shore Parks and Recreation (1767 Island Hwy., behind the Juan de Fuca branch). Proceeds go towards programs and services at the library.

On Saturday, April 14 early bird admission is $3 between 1 and 5 p.m. On Sunday, April 15, there is free admission from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and book prices are as marked. There is a $10 admission fee from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m., however books are free.

Our Lady of the Rosary (798 Goldstream Ave.) is also hosting its annual book sale on Saturday, April 14 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Coffee and muffins are provided. Those who want to donate books to the sale can bring them to the parish office or contact Judy at 250-474-2119 to arrange for pick up.
