Community News: Langford boardwalk closed for repairs

Juan de Fuca pathfinders hosting walks at Olympic View and Metchosin Community House to hold auction.

Langford boardwalk closed for repairs at popular beach

The Langford Lake Beach Park floating boardwalk is closed until further notice.

Storm damage during the winter months has caused the City to close the popular feature until repairs can be completed. A parks technician with the City noted the department is currently reviewing pricing options for the repairs and work is expected to start next week at the latest, depending on contractor availability.

The City apologized for any inconveniences caused and has asked anyone with questions or concerns to contact the parks department at 250-478-7882.
